Lyle

A combination of being down the Gundam rabbit hole and latching onto Gundam 00, as well as the thrill I got of having a custom faceup doll is what lead to the rather hasty decision to recreate Lockon Stratos, or better off the younger twin Lyle Dylandy. It also did not help that during this time, there is quite alot of merchandise for Lyle in particular as Gundam 00 was and still is one of the most popular Gundam franchises to this day. So, well, I had to do something.

Now, as most of you know, Dollfie Dream boy bodies are rather....Skinny. Not great for more muscular guys like the Lockon twins. And there isn't really any suitable head sculpts either. The anwswer to the aforementioned problems? Simple. It is getting a third party torso to give him a more muscular look, which is done by acquiring the muscular torso made by the talented Fiorista, and having the head modified to have eyeshapes much closer to what I want. Thanks to the incredible talent of Shirayuri Dolls, with her vinyl welding skills on top of her gorgeous faceups, I was able to do what would be considered impossible in Dollfie Dream standards!

And yes, Lyle is the very first doll in my collection to have a modified face, as well as utilizing a third party body making him also the first hybrid doll in my collection! One of the moments as long as you truly target and lock on to what you want, you will truly achieve it.
