....The very person behind Dollyway Photography! I am a Canadian currently based in Japan who works as a freelance web designer as her main job, and enjoys photography, specifically BJD photography on the side.

My interest in ball-jointed dolls started way back somewhere in 2012 when I first watched the anime Rozen Maiden and through it found the Volks Super Dollfie collaboration dolls of the Rozen Maidens themselves. Ever since, I fell into a deep hole in the doll world and got my very first BJD in 2013, a SDGr F-31 boy, Charles whom I ordered through Kyoto Tenshi no Sato Full Choice Order system.

However, I didn't really seriously get into doll photography at first as my interest in dolls briefly waned due to college. After leaving college as I could no longer handle it due to health issues, I eventually turned my interest to back to dolls when the NieR: Automata Dollfie Dreams were released, in hopes I would find some new purpose after a disasterous moment in my first steps as an adult.

After welcoming 9S home, my doll colelction just suddenly multiplied, and then my photography hobby got serious as I truly loved capturing dolls in a moment. This is where we are today!

Aside photography, I enjoy playing video games (especially Final Fantasy XIV!), foodie journeys, themed cafes & restaurants, creative writing and the occassional Gunpla building.
